Experiencing Gratitude in the Garden – Garden Gift 11

One of the many gifts that the garden has given me is gratitude. I am so grateful for the opportunity to co-create with nature in a garden that is mainly planting and harvesting. I am even more grateful for the fact that gardeners of all skill levels are being inspired to take their garden to the next level of production without the difficulties with weeds.

True Gardening – Garden Gift 9

The 9th gift that my garden gives me is that it is true. A plant cannot be hurried, coerced or tricked into creation. The garden runs on its own timetable by nature’s laws. If you are not true to your plants if you try to cheat them or trick them the will not create for you. Their rules, their time tables; we are just the caregivers.

Beauty the 5th Gift in the Garden Show

The 5th gift my garden has given me is beauty. Every single day the garden radiates beauty. Some of my favorite garden scenes are the dew drops on the edges of the leaves, the perfect spiral in the center of the lettuce plants, the geometry of a spider web and the perfection of a newly opened squash blossom with its brilliance and open invitation to the passing honey bee.
